Kenny and Toby joined the hundreds of Miatas in Asheville. NC for the Miatas at the Biltmore Estate, organized by the Ridgerunner Miata Club of Western North Carolina (quite a mouthful!)

The event ran from Thursday (5/6) through Sunday (5/9). Asheville was a 7.5 hour drive from Washington DC so Kenny and Toby left DC early so they could make it in time for registration and welcome dinner.

After a long and boring drive down the interstate, Kenny and Toby arrived at the beautiful Blue Ridge and Smoky Mountain National Park.

The next two days were action packed, with many spirited drives through different parts of the parks. (They skipped Deals Gap though with so many car it was like rush hour…) They were very lucky to have perfect “convertible weather” and everyone got to enjoy the drives with their top down.

Friday afternoon was the main event when the group gathered at the Biltmore estate. They toured the Biltmore mansion and posed for a group picture with all the other Miatas.
