997.11 (2021 DIY Progress)

As in-person learning restarted in the Fall of 2021, so was DIY shop class.  2021 projects were a mix of regular maintenance, minor interior repairs, and giving June a “modern look”.

June got an oil change, a rare transmission fluid change (12 year interval), and new motor mounts.

While June has a great German-engineered chassis and drivetrain, she also has a not so durable interior.  Toby made small repairs including AC control knobs, cupholders door latch and front trunk light housing (professionally crimped and insulated with his instructor’s help).

June also got upgraded looks inside and out, with LED fog lights (which Oliver immediately noticed), clear side markers, and interior LEDs.

Not getting an alignment. Just didn’t need a lift that day…
