After the winter break Team Shum East was back in action again at VIR.
Last year June had to abandon her VIR outing due to a clutch issue (turned out to be a cracked pressure plate). The clutch was replaced and June was ready for track duty again. In addition, Jon bought June a new set of 19″ wheels fitted with new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Kate inherited one set of June’s 18″ wheels, also fitted with the same tires.
Jon had an excellent instructor that helped him gain confidence throughout the weekend. By the end of day two Jon was signed off to run solo.
